Asparagus Season
Asparagus cultivation in Castelbello/Kastelbell is limited to a small area, but the asparagus grown here are particularly tasty and during the season can be found freshly harvested at the local markets. From mid-April until the end of May, the asparagus weeks take place in Castelbello and Ciardes/Tschars, when restaurants, wine-growers and merchants offer tasting and a dedicated program around the plant.
