Ceremonial Cattle Drive in Schluderns
Handicrafts/customs
Schluderns
The traditional cattle drive from the Upi Alm alpine pasture will take place again on 14 September 2024.
In the period from the beginning of September to the end of September, before it gets colder in the higher altitudes, the cattle drives take place in South Tyrol. In the valley, the village community celebrates the arrival of the cattle and dairymen with a small feast of food and drink.
