Bicycle route from Mals via Taufers to Müstair in Switzerland

Route description
From Mals railway station, cycle to Laatsch, continue on the bike path along the brook "Rambach" and through the Calven forest to the little village Rifair and Taufers. In Taufers you can see the castle "Rotund" and "Reichenberg" on the mountain. Here you can also visit the church San John with the Romanic frescos. On the state road, cross the border into Switzerland and follow it to Müstair. Müstair is famous for the UNESCO world heritage monastery, Saint John and well worth a visit. 
Cycle back along the same path to Mals, where the Etsch cycle routes "Via Claudia Augusta" leads to the Reschen Pass or Meran.
