Seppele Tour

The Seppelesteig tour is a leisurely circular hike where you can enjoy the idyllic scenery of Slingia and the green forests of Watles.

The pleasant Seppele tour begins in the cosy hamlet of Prämajur (1750m). From here, you can already see across the vast Upper Vinschgau Valley.

Take path no. 3 uphill towards Höfer Alm. A little way below the cosy alpine pasture (2066m), where a short detour is definitely worthwhile. Turn left onto path no. 8B, downhill and then continue along path no. 8A until you reach the picturesque village of Schlinig. In this small mountain village, you can take a short break in one of the inns. After a short walk through the village, trail no. 8B leads to trail no. 20, the so-called Seppelesteig. The path takes us through green forests back to our starting point in Prämajur.

Refreshment stops: Höfer Alm alpine pasture; Inns in Prämajur; Inns in Slingia;Bus line 277 takes us directly to the hamlet of Prämajur, through the village of Burgusio to the Slingia road, past the Marienberg monastery and then turn right to Prämajur.
