Mountain hiking at Malga di Latschinigo

General description

The Latschiniger Alm Pasture is situated on the Monte Tramontana in Castelbello. Hikers will enjoy simple tyrolean food and local products.

Route description

Starts from the parking lot “old sawmill” on the path number 3 ascending through the forest up to the Malga di Lacinigo. The descent is via the same route or via the Malga di Montefranco. This trail begins below the alpine pasture and ends up above the Malga di Montefranco. Below the pasture starts the path that takes you down to the starting point.

Description to arrive at destination

Castelbello center, right uphill to Montefranco. After the last farms a small road (no pavement) brings you to the to the parking lot "old sawmill".
