The
irrigation channel paths are among the most popular
children’s’ itineraries in South Tyrol. Alongside ancient irrigation channels, paths such as the
Schnalswaal or the
Oberwaal run alongside the nature trail across the Prader Sand marshland. Accessible to baby carriages, the
Silandro/Schlanders sun promenade combines the pleasure of a hike with the thrill of discovery to destinations like the Schliniger Alm alpine pasture.
When
hiking with children in South Tyrol at higher altitudes take the
cableway for a rapid ascent. On arriving at the mountain station, there’s a range of magnificent walks in nature to choose from. Each trip on the cable car is the start of a new adventure!
