Throughout Val Venosta and in the Laces-Val Martello holiday area the traditional weekly markets still take place. Fresh local produce, such as fruit, berries and vegetables, cheeses, bacon and bread types, jam, vinegar, juices and herbal teas, are always available for sale at these markets. The traditional weekly market in Laces takes place every Friday.

Renowned weekly markets in Val Venosta are located in Prato allo Stelvio, Malles and Silandro. In summer, they are held together with the farmers' markets. In this way a wide range of regional products is on offer. There are also craft and handicraft products made of stone, wood or felt for sale, as well as textiles, leather goods, plants, and equipment of all kinds for house and garden.
