The themed walks in
Laces and
Val Martello combine the attraction of this fascinating pristine landscape with specific information about the region and its population. The
South Tyrolean Strawberry Trail runs through the strawberry fields in Val Martello, on the farms where the fruit may be tasted. The didactical
Waldbergbauernweg trail is also located in Val Martello.
Not far from the Enzianhütte mountain hut is the start of the
Educational Glacier Trail, opening out not only to magnificent views of the glacier itself, but also sparkling frozen lakes and moraines.
The
Venosta Valley High Mountain Trail, totaling 108 km in length, is a must-do for hiking enthusiasts. Open between April and October, the trail utilizes different pathways for the exploration of the Monte Sole, lasting several days, making it more of a hiking adventure than a walk.
The hike through the impressive
Plimaschlucht (Plima Gorge) in Val Martello is a very special experience – a true natural monument which, over centuries, has buried itself deep into the rock at the foot of Cevedale mountain and which now has been opened up for hikers. Thus today a hiking experience not to be missed leads through the gorge path.
