Chairlift Langenstein-Orso

Take the Langenstein chairlift directly to the foot of the Ortler.

General description
If you've always wanted to experience the Ortler up close, the Langenstein chairlift is the best choice. The lift takes you directly to the foot of King Ortler without much effort. You also have access to numerous mountain huts from the mountain station, such as the Payerhütte, Tabarettahütte and Hintergrathütte as well as the Schaubachhütte.
Description to arrive at destination
From Spondinig take the Stelvio Pass road SS 38 to Gomagoi, then turn left to Sulden. In the center of Sulden turn right after the Hotel Julius Payer and follow the road to the parking lot of the chairlift. It is approx. 20 km from Spondinig to the parking lot in Sulden.
Parking
The parking lot is located directly at the valley station of the chairlift.
Public transport
Those who do not want to get to Solda by private car have the option of using public transportation. The bus line 271 takes you from Prad/Spondinig to Sulden in just over half an hour. The bus stop is located directly at the Sulden tourist office at the beginning of the village, from there it is about a 10-minute walk to the chair lift.
