Length: 21 km
Duration: 9 h
Route description

This fourth stage of the Marble Circuit Trail begins at the Obere Laaser Alm mountain pasture and leads to the Obere Tschenglser Alm mountain pasture, then to the Gampenhütte hut before eventually reaching the Vellnairalm hut. This section rewards hikers with magnificent views of the Ortler glacier. However, since there are no manned refuges, be sure to bring your own provisions (food and water) with you. Again, accommodation may be found in the villages down in the valley, via a shuttle link. Crowned by the stunning Gaflaunböden peaks, the breath-taking landscape between the Gampenhütte and the Vellnairalm huts provide the highlight of this stage. Including the Königsspitze summit in the majestic Ortler region stretching across the Reschensee lake to the majestic Zerminiger summit above Schlanders/Silandro.

Duration 9:00 h
