Trafoi ski resort

The idyllic hamlet of Trafoi is a very special ski area for families looking to combine peace and relaxation with fun and leisure. Nestled in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, Trafoi offers a unique panoramic view of the Ortler, far from the hustle and bustle of larger ski resorts.

The ski lift to the family-friendly slopes of the snow-covered mountain region starts right from the village center and is accessible to families within minutes. On the slopes of the Trafoi ski area, where ski legend Gustav Thöni made his first turns, a calm yet active atmosphere still prevails. Beginners and experienced skiers alike feel at home, and there are no waiting times at the lifts.

Around the ski area, families and nature lovers can enjoy a lot of untouched nature, best explored on foot or with snowshoes. A small tip: the best view of the surrounding mountain world, including King Ortler mountain, is from the Furkelhütte hut, located above the ski area.
