Sledging in Venosta Valley in South Tyrol
Winter family adventures in the Venosta Valley
Sledging is a traditional and popular free-time and community sport in South Tyrol. Having fun on two skids is a winter sport for the whole family, or for groups of friends going on a "sledging party" or for "full moon sledging". The luge runs at the five ski areas in Venosta Valley offer unique experiences on the raging, curved and partly floodlit tracks leading down to the valley. Along the luge runs in Venosta Valley, vacationers usually enjoy incomparable panoramic views of the surrounding snow-covered mountain peaks.
Part of a real luge event among friends is the ascent by foot and the final stop in a cozy restaurant. The popular activity of full moon sledging is particularly fun. It is a unique experience to descend on fast, bendy and partially lit slopes all the way down to the valley.
Venosta Valley has well-prepared, safe and child-friendly sledging slopes with an incomparable view of the surrounding snow-covered mountain peaks.
