Water path

From Vallatsches to the Obere Stilfser Alm

General description
The Vallatsches mill is a water mill. It was built near the Tramantan river, as the water wheel uses the power of the water to drive the mill's grinding mechanism. To allow the water to flow to the mill wheel, a millrace leads from the stream to the mill. The waterway leads along the Tramentanbach stream from the Vallatsches mill to the Stilfser Alm and back again.
Route description
Follow the directions from the parking lot just before the Vallatsches Höfe to the mill. From there, trail no. 6 leads across the meadows to the Vallatsches farms. Take path no. 4 to the Untere Stilfser Alm and continue to the Obere Stilfser Alm. Return via the same route to the starting point.
