L'Angelo Grande/Hoher Angelus

The l'Angelo Grande is a summit tour with a beautiful view.

General description

The lucrative peak tour on the Angelo Grande/Hohe Angelus (3,530 m) starts from the Serristori Alpine hut. The high mountain tour with via ferrata (B/C) is moderately difficult and practically free of ice, and provides mountain climbers with a wonderful panoramic view. 

Route description

From Hotel Cristallo in Solda, path no. 5 leads into the Zaytal valley and directly to the rif. Serristori (2,721 m). Now go eastwards until you reach a fork in the path, follow the "Angelus" trail.

Description to arrive at destination

From Spondigna/Spondinig via the street to the Stelvio Pass SS 38 to Gomagoi, then left to Solda. From Spondigna to the parking area is it approx. 20 km.

Parking

At the entrance of the village, between Hotel Bambi and Hotel Eller, there is a paid public parking lot. It offers a sufficient number of parking spaces and is easily accessible from the main road.

Public transport

If you do not want to travel to Solda by private car, you can use the pubblic transport. With the bus line 271 you get from Prato allo Stelvio/Spondigna to Solda in about half an hour. The bus stop is located directly at the Hotel Post in Solda.
