There are currently three folk-dance groups in the Venosta Valley, namely in Prato/Prad, Silandro/Schlanders and Martello/Martell. The objectives of these folk-dance groups are the preservation of the tradition and culture of the Venosta Valley, and to provide folk dance with positive motivation. The folk-dance groups participate at various religious and secular celebrations in their own respective villages and other places domestically and abroad.
