Getting away from it all in the pristine mountains of the Ortles Massif, where its peaks tower well above 3,000 meters, out of reach of the hustle and bustle of everyday life. An Alpine ski excursion into the Ortles region can lead to a wealth of discovery. Across the snow and ice one reaches unknown parts of the Stelvio National Park and the Martello Valley, with its imposing peaks abruptly flanking the Valley.

There are also several highly popular excursions on the Piz Minschuns or on the Cevedale, the Angelo Piccolo and the Vertana and Solda peaks. The Alpine Ski School at Solda organizes trips up the surrounding peaks on a daily basis and adventure-seekers will find their efforts rewarded with spectacular descents amidst the fresh snow and magnificent views of the surrounding glaciers as well as all the Eastern Alps.
