Lotter Trail

A classic among the trails in Prad. This track offers some technical sections and a wonderful view of the town and the upper Venosta valley.

The Lotter Trail starts at the aquaprad visitor centre, where a village signpost directs us to trail no. 5. At the end of the village, we walk past the Nittbach water walking pool for about 1 km in the direction of Tschengls. Shortly before the little church of St. Ottilia, the trail turns sharply in the direction of Prad. From here the trail slowly narrows and leads in a steep up and down to the Platzgernunhof farm and to Schweinböden. The now wider trail leads past Ganderegg and back to the starting point. TIP: An inviting place to relax awaits you at the Platzgernunhof farm.
