Summer Action Sports in the Resia Pass Holiday Area

Rafting, kite surfing, kajak and paragliding at the lake plateau

Breezy heights, rushing streams, winding roads: the Resia Pass holiday area offers leisure-time athletes all manner of possibilities in terms of action sports. The local climbing paths and via ferrata excursions are considered among the best in the Alps, while paragliders will find ideal conditions for flights among these windy, sunny mountains. The Inn river promises exhilarating rafting adventures and the Resia Lake offers ideal conditions for kajaking.

Stand up paddling

The kite school PROBOARDER offers as a novelty a stand up paddle rental at the Resia Lake - If required, courses are also organized.

Kayaking

Our expert Christian offers you a kayak trip on the Resia Lake during the summer months. Familiarise yourself with the kayak and paddle across the Lake together with Christian.

Fixed-Rope Route in the Resia Pass Holiday Area

The two fixed-rope routes at the Resia Pass Lake Plateau are among the most challenging classics in primary rock. The Goldweg fixed-rope route delights on the one hand with vertical airy passages and on the other hand with a beautiful show of summits. Likewise, the Tirolerweg fixed-rope route is characterised by an impressive all-round view of the mountains in North and South Tyrol as well as the Resia Lake.

Rafting

Not far from the Resia Pass holiday area lies the Inn, also called „King of the alpine rivers“. The Inn is one of the most popular whitewater rivers in Europe. At wildwater class III+, action enthusiasts feel comfortable, however, the Tyrolean river also provides the appropriate waves and rolls for beginners. Exciting whitewater tours take place along the Adige River.

Paragliding

The Resia Pass Lake Plateau provides all requirements for a spectacular paragliding flight. The local Tourism Association organises tandem flights upon request. By means of a passenger flight together with a qualified tandem pilote, the dream of flying can be fulfilled without any preparation.
