Traditional and culinary festival in Prad
Handicrafts/customs
10/5/2025
Prato allo Stelvio
In Prato allo Stelvio, ancient customs and traditions are experienced like in few other places in South Tyrol.
"Zusslrennen" and "Machgertanz" in carnival, the "Goaßlschnölln" group and the famous "Tuifl" devils of St. Nicholas in December are just a few examples of the village's cultural specialities.
The entire variety of living traditions and ancient costumes will be brought closer to visitors during the seventh festival of tradition and taste, to be held on 5 October 2025.
The Tourist Association of Prato, together with the participating associations, invites you to participate in a colourful programme of events as part of the festival.
From local and regional customs to culinary delights, a large craft and gourmet market, open kitchen, bowling alley, harmonious music and much more, there is much for festival visitors to see and experience.
The festival starts at 9.30 a.m. with a morning pint in the main square of Prato.
