Sights and attractions all around Silandro and Lasa in Venosta Valley

The biggest draws among the museums of Venosta Valley are the two branches of the Messner Mountain Museum (MMM) founded by mountaineer Reinhold Messner (with 5 branches in total around South Tyrol): the MMM Ortles in Solda/Sulden and the branch at Juval Castle in Castelbello-Ciardes/Kastelbell-Tschars.

Five visitor centers in the Stelvio National Park provide insights into the flora and fauna.

The Churburg castle in Sluderno/Schluderns boasts a large collection of weapons and armour. The Venosta Museum is host to two permanent exhibitions, on archaeology in the region and the history of the local rural population.
