Venosta Valley
Tour to Alp Matsch
Malles - Malettes - Mazia - Glieshof – Malga Matsch
General description
Easy e-bike tour to the Mazia valley - the first mountaineering village in South Tyrol
Route description
From the railway station in Mals, start leisurely through the centre to reach the Malettes plateau (1.606 m) on the northern edge via the pleasantly ascending gravel path no. 12. Reach the Lechtlhof along beautiful paths along sunny slopes. Here turn left towards "Gemassen" 350 m further on and after the first ground grid in the black forest continue to the first sharp left turn. At the "Tartscher Leger", reach the The Venosta Valley High Mountain Trail to the village Matsch (1.564 m), accompanied by views of the Upper Venosta, Ortler group, Mustair valley and the Reschen Pass lake plateau. Continue on the road in the direction of "Glieshöfe" and turn left up a wide forest road to the Alp of Matsch.
Cycle back along the same path to Mals.
