Road Cycling in the Upper Venosta Valley
The spectacular passes and idyllic lakes of South Tyrol
Well-trained cyclists pedal up the 2,760 m high Stelvio Pass with a magnificent view of the Ortler mountain. Novices tackle the Resia Pass, or pedal through the wildly romantic Val Martello or the rustic Schnalstal Valley. Popular routes are the Upper Venosta Valley road bike circuit, which runs from Malles/Mals past S. Valentino Lake and Resia Lake to Melago/Melag in Langtauferertal Valley, or the Tanas road bike circuit.
