On the outskirts of Slingia/Schlinig (1,738 m), next to the Nordic ski center, starts the wide winter hiking trail No. 1. He leads over broad snow-covered mountain pastures. Effortlessly reaching after approx. 1 hour the Schlinigeralm Alpine Pasture at 1,868 m, which is open to the public and invites you to stop for a lunch break, to try the regional cuisine of the Upper Venosta Valley.In winter hikers, along this route, often have the luck to spot wild animals.Tip: bring the sledge (perfect for kids)The return is along the same trail.
