Embark on your irrigation channel hike near St. Michael church in Burgeis and follow the Sonnensteig trail (trail #17) through Malser Haide. After crossing "Planeiler" street, the Oberwaal winds its way up to the Solis refreshment hut high above Mals, opening up a breathtaking view of the upper Vinschgau valley.
